Mr Worry was the 7th book in the series of Mr Men Books.

Mr Worry never stopped worrying.  He worried that something would happen and if it didn’t he worried that it didn’t. For example, if it rained, he worried that his roof was going to leak but if it didn’t rain then he worried that his plants were going to die.

One day he met Mr Bump. Mr Worry told Mr Bump that he was very worried about him. He was worried that Mr Bump would hurt himself.  Then he met Mr Noisy. Mr Worry told him that he was worried about him. He was worried that Mr Noisy would lose his voice. Then he met Mr Greedy and he told him that he was worried that he might eat too much and get sick.

Finally, he met a wizard. The wizard asked him to go home and write down everything that he was worried about. The wizard promised to make sure that none of these things would happen.  Suddenly Mr Worry had nothing to worry about.  After a while Mr Worry started worrying again. He was worried that he didn’t have anything to worry about!

Mr Skinny was extraordinarily thin. If he turned sideways, you could hardly see him. Mr Skinny actually lived in Fatland which made it even worse.  Everything and everybody in Fatland was as fat as could be.  The dogs, worms, elephants and even the flowers.  For breakfast Mr Skinny had one cornflake, for lunch a baked bean and for supper te world’s smallest sausage.  One day Mr Skinny went to see the doctor (Doctor Plump). Mr Skinny explained to Dr Plump that he would like to be able to eat more so that he could put on a little weight. Dr Plump thought of a solution to his problem. He called Mr Greedy and asked him if Mr Skinny can come to stay to build up his appetite. Mr Greedy agreed.  At the end of the month Mr Skinny returned home. He was very happy and even had a little tummy!
